Book your surf lessons with Julio, he and his crew were awesome and taught us first timers how to surf! Recommend booking the three day surf camp. Very reasonably priced! A must do for beginner and intermediate surfers who what to learn the beach breaks and sharpen their skills.

There's great surfing in Avellana's but also a really cool restaurant that sits right on the beach. Try their pizza and say hi to Lola, the biggest pig you'll ever see! There's a shuttle that goes down 3x per day. Go to Neptune's Surf Shop for tickets. Do not take scooters there as the roads are not good.
